The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Works, implemented the project, which comprises the Ambassador's residence, a reception hall, conference hall, waiting lounge, offices, a majlis and other facilities.

The two-storey building, which occupies an estimated 7,500m2, is located in the Diplomatic Area in the UAE's capital.

The project is scheduled to be completed by November 2015 ahead of its inauguration in 2016.
